I was born and raised in the small town of Bloomfield, Kentucky. I grew up playing traditional American sports (baseball, football, and basketball). I have a younger brother, Brad and a younger sister, Hannah. In my early teens I began skateboarding and filmmaking. I eventually found girls to be more interesting and left skateboarding behind, but my passion for business and filmmaking eventually led to me co-founding a video production business my sophomore year of college at the age of 19. I spun my wheels for three years and eventually decided to dissolve the business with the intent of leaving Kentucky. My plans changed when I was afforded an excellent opportunity to work with the young and growing video department at Zappos.com in Shepherdsville, KY (just outside of Louisville). I moved to Louisville in January of 2010 and got married in April. I now spend my time between advancing my skills and knowledge in the field of online video production, taking calculated risks at the horse track (Churchill Downs), watching the Cincinnati Reds, and watching the stock market go up and down, with the hope that my investments and hard work will continue to pay off. Life is good! :)
